Meet Adam Allwood, Founder & CEO
During my youth, I had a deep passion for sneakers, but I encountered a significant challenge—acquiring authentic Jordans, Yeezys, and Dunks within Australia. In my pursuit, I fell victim to a scam and ended up with counterfeit Bred Yeezy Boost 350's. The disappointment and frustration I experienced were immeasurable, and it was a stark reminder of the deceptive practices some individuals engage in to exploit vulnerable consumers. It was this experience that drove me to establish Aussie Sneaker Plug and ensure that others wouldn't face similar circumstances when seeking authentic sneakers in Australia.
Our Journey
Our journey began in December 2020. At first, our goal was simply to flip shoes to fund our own sneaker collections. However, as we delved deeper into the sneaker world, we discovered that many others were in the same position as us. They, too, worked tirelessly and saved diligently to realize their dreams of owning their dream pair of kicks.
Realizing this common ground, we decided to shift our focus to enhancing the experience of buying sneakers from a "reseller" or "resell store." We decided to do more than just sell sneakers; we aimed to create a community, a network of sneakerheads who shared our passion and determination.
We took the time to get to know our small but dedicated network of customers. With their invaluable feedback and support, they have played an instrumental role in shaping who we are today. We owe our success to them, and we are proud to be recognized as the premier sneaker plug in Australia.
